หุ่นยนต์ทางการแพทย์และเภสัชกรรม MEDICAL AND PHARMACEUTICAL ROBOTS

Abstract

      หุ่นยนต์ หมายถึงเครื่องจักรที่ออกแบบมาให้สามารถตั้งลำดับการทำงานได้ มีคุณสมบัตินำเข้าหรือรับรู้ข้อมูลจากสิ่งแวดล้อมภายนอกและสามารถกระทำการด้านกายภาพ เช่น จับ ยก ดัน หรือเคลื่อนย้ายวัตถุได้ โดยหุ่นยนต์สามารถนำมาใช้ประโยชน์ในหลาย ๆ ด้าน เช่น ด้านอุตสาหกรรม ด้านการทหาร ด้านงานบันเทิงและการแสดง ด้านการวิจัยและพัฒนา ด้านการสำรวจ ด้านการเกษตรกรรม รวมถึงมีการใช้ด้านการแพทย์และเภสัชกรรมด้วย

     หุ่นยนต์ทางการแพทย์นำไปใช้ประโยชน์ด้านการผ่าตัด ช่วยในด้านพัฒนาการของเด็ก ใช้ติดตามคนไข้บนหอผู้ป่วย ด้านการดูแลและการพยาบาล ใช้ขนส่งอุปกรณ์ทางการแพทย์และยา ใช้ในการทำกายภาพบำบัด ใช้ในห้องปฏิบัติการสำหรับตรวจวินิจฉัย ใช้สำหรับประชาสัมพันธ์ในโรงพยาบาล ใช้หุ่นยนต์ดูแลผู้สูงอายุ เป็นต้น

     หุ่นยนต์ในทางเภสัชกรรมนำไปใช้ประโยชน์ในโรงงานอุตสาหกรรมยา ในการนับเม็ดยา ใช้จัดยาเฉพาะมื้อในโรงพยาบาล ใช้จัดยาในร้านขายยา ใช้ในการเตรียมยาสำหรับผู้ป่วยเฉพาะราย ทั้งยาน้ำ ยาฉีด ยาเคมีบำบัด เป็นต้น

     แม้ว่าการนำหุ่นยนต์มาใช้ประโยชน์ในด้านต่าง ๆ มีศักยภาพสูง แต่การใช้หุ่นยนต์มีข้อจำกัด เช่น ด้านราคาและการบำรุงรักษา ความกังวลที่หุ่นยนต์จะมาทดแทนมนุษย์ ความกังวลที่หุ่นยนต์เปลี่ยนแปลงพฤติกรรมมนุษย์ รวมถึงปัญหาความรู้ความเข้าใจของมนุษย์ที่มีต่อหุ่นยนต์ ในอนาคตเมื่อเทคโนโลยีด้านหุ่นยนต์พัฒนาไปมากขึ้น เราจะได้รับประโยชน์สูงสุดจากหุ่นยนต์

      Robots refer to machinery designed to operate to order.  They can import or get information from external sources and perform physical actions such as capture, lift, push or move an object.  Robots can be utilized in various fields such as industry, military service, entertainment and shows, research and development, surveying, and agriculture along with their use in the medical and pharmaceutical industries.

       Medical robots are useful in many areas, including surgery, child development, in-patient tracking, nursing care, transportation of medicines and medical equipment, rehabilitation, diagnostic laboratories, hospital public relations departments and elderly care.

       Pharmaceutical robots are useful in the pharmaceutical industry, drugstores, pill counting services, unit dose preparation and extemporaneous formulation for individual patients including liquid, injection and chemotherapeutic preparations.

       Although the use of robots in various fields shows great potential, many limitations exist, such as cost and maintenance, concerns of human replacement by robots, concerns of changes in human behavior, and human understanding in robots.  In the future, when robot technology is more advanced, maximum benefit will be gained.
