Quality of the guideline was assessed by Mason’s criterion for standards of care, postpartum blood loss, and satisfaction of the nurse-midwives. The results revealed that over 90% of the activities were completed and the nurse-midwives reported high andvery high levels of satisfaction (x28.33, SD 1.22). Normal postpartum blood loss (x173.17ml, SD 69.6).This nursing practice guideline should be used as a standard of care for prevention of early postpartum hemorrhage.
