Abstract

บทคัดย่อ

                 การศึกษาเชิงคุณภาพแบบปรากฏการณ์วิทยานี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่ออธิบายปรากฏการณ์การดูแลพระภิกษุอาพาธระยะสุดท้าย ผู้ให้ข้อมูลเป็นพยาบาลที่ปฏิบัติงานในหออภิบาลสงฆ์หลวงปู่มั่น   ภูริทัตโต คณะแพทยศาสตร์  มหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่น จำนวน 12 คน เก็บรวบรวมข้อมูลโดยการสัมภาษณ์เจาะลึก วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลโดยการวิเคราะห์เนื้อหา (Content analysis) ผลการศึกษาสะท้อนปรากฏการณ์การดูแลพระภิกษุอาพาธระยะสุดท้าย จำนวน 6 แก่นสาระ คือ 1)การดูแลให้กายสบาย 2)การดูแลให้จิตสงบ 3)ให้ญาติเฝ้าดูแล 4)การดูแลมิติจิตวิญญาณ : มิติที่ถูกละเลย 5)การดูแลที่มีอุปสรรค และ 6)องค์ความรู้ : สิ่งที่ต้องพัฒนา ข้อค้นพบจากการศึกษาก่อให้เกิดความเข้าใจใน ปรากฏการณ์การดูแลพระภิกษุอาพาธระยะสุดท้ายและ สามารถนำไปใช้เป็นข้อมูลในการพัฒนาศักยภาพพยาบาลเพื่อให้สามารถดูแลพระภิกษุอาพาธระยะสุดท้ายได้อย่างมีประสิทธิภาพ

     Abstract

             This qualitative study, philosophically underpinned by phenomenology aimed to explain the phenomenon of end of life care in sick Buddhist monks . 12 nurses from The Lung Pu Man Phuritatto ward, Faculty of Medicine, Khon Kaen University were purposively selected for the study. In-depth interviewing were applied for data collection. Data were  analyzed  by content analysis. The results reflected the phenomenon of care was composed of 6 themes.1)Caring for physical comfort.2)Caring for peaceful mind.3)Caring by family.4)Spiritual care:  the  neglected dimension. 5)The end of life care : the barriers of care and 6)The body of knowledge :the thing that nurse should be developed. This finding provide understanding phenomenon of  end of life care in sick Buddhist monk and can be the basic foundation for development nurse potential for effective end of life care in sick Buddhist monk.
