Abstract

บทคัดย่อ

การวิจัยเชิงพรรณาครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาความสามารถในการทำกิจวัตรประจำวัน และอำนาจการทำนายความสามารถในการทำกิจวัตรประจำวันของผู้สูงอายุในเขตเมือง จังหวัดอุตรดิตถ์ จำนวน 506 คน โดยการสุ่มตัวอย่างแบบชั้นภูมิ เครื่องมือที่ใช้ คือ แบบสอบถาม วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลโดยใช้สถิติเชิงพรรณา และการวิเคราะห์ถดถอดพหุคุณแบบขั้นตอน ผลการวิจัยพบว่า ปัจจัยที่สามารถทำนายความสามารถในการทำกิจวัตรประจำวันของผู้สูงอายุในเขตเมือง คือ  การรับรู้ความสามารถตนเอง การรับรู้ถึงโอกาสเสี่ยง การเข้าถึงสถานบริการต่างๆ อายุ การได้รับแรงสนับสนุนจากกลุ่มต่างๆ ความรู้เกี่ยวกับผู้สูงอายุ ตามลำดับ ตัวแปรทั้ง 6 ด้าน สามารถทำนายความสามารถในการทำกิจวัตรประจำวันของผู้สูงอายุร้อยละ 56.9 จากผลการศึกษาครั้งนี้ การดูแลผู้สูงอายุให้มีความสามารถในการทำกิจวัตรประจำวันด้วยตนเอง มีหลายปัจจัย ดังนั้น ควรส่งเสริมสนับสนุนให้ผู้สูงอายุ รับรู้ในความสามารถตนเอง รับรู้ถึงโอกาสเสี่ยงของการเกิดภาวะพึ่งพา บุคลากรในทีมสุขภาพควรมีการให้ความรู้และฝึกทักษะแก่ผู้ดูแลผู้สูงอายุและติดตามความก้าวหน้าอย่างต่อเนื่อง นอกจากนี้ สนับสนุนให้คนในครอบครัวและชุมชนมีส่วนกระตุ้นให้ผู้สูงอายุมีความสามารถในการทำกิจวัตรประจำวันด้วยตนเอง

Abstract

This descriptive research aimed to explore the physical activities of daily living and examine the predictability of factors related on physical activities of daily living among elderly 506 people in urban area, Uttaradit Province. Data were randomly selected with stratified random sampling and collected data by using questionnaire. Data was analyzed using descriptive statistics, and Stepwise multiple regression. The results showed that factors affecting physical activities of daily living among elderly people in urban area. There were six factors that could significantly predict physical activities of daily living among elderly people in urban area by ranking them from the most to the least predictive coefficients. These factors included perceived self-efficacy, perceived risk, access service place, age, social support, knowledge of elderly. All of them could predict physical activities of daily living among elderly people at approximately 56.9%. The finding suggested that elderly care with physical activities of daily living have many factors. So, should be modified to help them to gain perceived self-efficacy, perceived risk of dependence condition. Health care provider should pay more attention on gain knowledge and skill practice of caregiver and also to support them by organizing follow-up appointments continuously and proactively. In addition, encourage families and communities to support elderly people have the physical activities of daily living by themselves.
