The Relationship with the Success of the Career of Service of Front Staffs in the Five Stat Hotel, Bangkok

Abstract

          The purpose of this research were divided into two parts: 1) it was to study about the carrier achievement of front office section in 5-star hotels, Bangkok, and 2) it was to study about the factors which related to the career achievement of front office section in 5-star hotels, Bangkok. The sample of this study has eighteen hundred front office managers who work in a hotel which each room has up to 30 square meters. The date was analysed by using a frequency, a percentage, an average, a standard deviation, and Chi–square (x2), the statistical data was analysed by using a computer program.


          The research shows that the respondents’ feedbacks to the manager’s leadership were in a high level at all. When was considering at the income and the respondents’ feedbacks to the manager’s leadership to also in a high level. There was only the influence factor that in the highest level. Finally, the respondent’s feedbacks to the career achievement of front office section in 5-star hotels, Bangkok, were in a high level as well as the income.


          It was found that the relationship between the individual features and the successful in career were related to the statistical significance at the level of .05. It was apart from the gender factor which related to nothing; however, it was related to the statistical significance at the level of .05. Finally, the relationship between the leadership factor and the career achievement in front office section of 5-star hotels, Bangkok, were related to the statistical significance at the level of .05 and except from the decision making factor will have been relating to the statistical significance at the level of .05.
