Abstract

This article is intended 1) to describe the correct shoes according to the disciplines and 2) to describe the virtue of offering shoes to monks. The Buddha forbade the momks to wear shoes with all colors of green, Yellow, red. deep pink, black, orange, and pink. Circumcised animal skin shoes included the skins of the lion, tiger, yellow tiger, musk, naga, cat , lemur, owl, and so on. Thess disorderly shoes, if corrected them like squirting out or removing the circumcised leather, they were available. The persons who offering the shoes to monks would get the benefits of being happy, having no foot disease, going anywhere comfortably, having the virtue of nowadays, and reaching heavenly attitudes to achieve the attainment of Dhamma when they passed away.
