FACTORS AFFECTING OPAC ADOPTION OF UNDERGRADUATE STUDENTS AT PHRANAKHON RAJABHAT UNIVERSITY

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to find the affected factors toward OPAC adoption of undergraduate students at Phranakhon Rajabhat University. The populations were 11,542 undergraduate students at Phranakhon Rajabhat University. The samples were 398 people using stratified random sampling. The research instrument was a questionnaire which was reliable of the Cronbach’s alpha coefficient at 0.85. The statistics were used in this study such as frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, and stepwise multiple regression analysis.
The findings were as follows: 1. Frequencies of OPAC accessing with tittle, author and subject heading were average of 2.85, 2.62, and 2.74 times per week respectively. 2. The affected factors toward OPAC adoption were easy usage perception and usefulness perception at high level with average of 3.82 and 3.76 respectively. The easy usage perception and usefulness affected to OPAC adoption at .o5 level of statistical significantly. The Regression equation of title search was .0878+2.547, easy usage perception was +2.370, the regression equation of author search and usefulness perception were 1.588 + 1.829, easy usage perception +1.623, usefulness and the regression equation of subject headings  search was  4.910 + 1.463 easy usage + 0.713 usefulness perception
