Batik design from plants in literature

Abstract

This research aims to study the pattern of watercolor painting in literature at Suan Sunandha Palace to identify the color and shape from watercolor painting. For creating batik pattern and design inspired from plants in literature.By using qualitative research methodology. Primary data from the study of watercolor painting in literature at Suan Sunandha Palace. And secondary data from various books to collect data for analysis. The research found that the water painting in literature at Suan Sunandha Palace is a painting that convey the shapes and colors of the plants in the virtual. The batik pattern inspired by the plants in literature. Most of patterns made by natural mix with geometric shapes to be beautiful patterns
