Asia-Pacific Journal of Science and Technology

Asia-Pacific Journal of Science and Technology (APST) formerly known as KKU Research Journal is an open-access peer-reviewed journal published by the Research and Technology Transfer Affairs Division of Khon Kaen University. The journal title has been changed since volume 21, issue 4, October - December 2016 in order to attract more international readers and authors. The journal is devoted to a wide range of research fields including Pure Science, Mathematics, Agricultural Science, Engineering Science, Technology, and Health Science whereas research work obtained from the integration of those aforementioned fields is most welcome. It is primarily aimed at publicising and promoting research work from Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) and other Asian countries. It is also expected to be part of raising the standard of ASEAN post-graduate studies since, in some of the ASEAN countries including Thailand, publication of research work in post-graduate theses/dissertations in high quality journals is compulsorily required. The journal employs the double-blind review process, which authors and reviewers are anonymous to each other throughout the process.

Focus and Scope

Asia-Pacific Journal of Science and Technology accepts English manuscripts of original research and review articles in the fields of science and technology which have never been published elsewhere. The main focus of the journal is to publish work that leads to creative practical applications, green environment, and human wellbeing. Research areas covered by the journal include, but are not limited to:

  • Pure Science
  • Mathematics
  • Agricultural Science
  • Engineering Science
  • Technology
  • Health Science

Manuscripts reporting research work integrating the aforementioned fields are especially encouraged. The use of science, engineering and technology knowledge to assist, co-operate, enhance and/or incorporate with other fields such as health science and agricultural science for human wellbeing is of core interest. The integration between subfields, for example, plant science-pharmaceutical science, and plant science-agricultural engineering-automatic control-energy technology is particularly anticipated to be published in the journal.
