Oral cancer therapy by maxillectomy and radiotherapy of head and neck causes the change in
oral cavity, palatoschisis, missing teeth, facial change and compromised function of maxilla. The reconstruction
with obturators aimed to restore form and aesthetics included near normal maxillary function is essential.
Patient in this report, underwent right maxillectomy and radiotherapy for malignant oral cancer, had using
obturator with overdentures to reconstruct facial, maxilla, speech, swallowing and mastication. The principle
of treatment was that obturator must be no overextension or occlusal disharmony. The most important
thing was the precise fitting of an obtulator. These factors made the results were satisfied.
