ผลของโปรแกรมกลุ่มสัมพันธ์ทางสังคมต่อภาวะซึมเศร้าของผู้สูงอายุ

บทคัดย่อ

ปัจจุบันประเทศไทยก้าวเข้าสู่สังคมผู้สูงอายุ การวิจัยครั้งนี้เป็นการวิจัยกึ่งทดลองแบบสองกลุ่ม วัดก่อนและ หลังทดลอง มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาผลของโปรแกรมกลุ่มสัมพันธ์ทางสังคมต่อภาวะซึมเศร้าของผู้สูงอายุ กลุม่ ตัวอยา่ งคือ ผูสู้งอายุที่มีอายุ 60 ปบี ริบูรณข์ ึ้นไป จำนวน 60 คน สุม่ เขา้ กลุม่ ทดลองและกลุม่ ควบคุม กลุม่ ละ 30 คน กลุ่มทดลองได้รับโปรแกรมกลุ่มสัมพันธ์ทางสังคมจำนวน 8 ครั้งๆ ละ 120 นาที เป็นเวลา 8 สัปดาห์ และ กลุ่มควบคุมได้รับการดูแลปกติ เก็บข้อมูลโดยใช้แบบประเมินภาวะซึมเศร้าในผู้สูงอายุ วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลทั่วไปโดยใช้ สถิติเชิงพรรณนาและเปรียบเทียบคะแนนเฉลี่ยภาวะซึมเศร้าของผู้สูงอายุในกลุ่มทดลอง ก่อนและหลังการ ทดลองด้วยสถิติทดสอบ dependent t-test และเปรียบเทียบผลต่างของค่าเฉลี่ยคะแนนภาวะซึมเศร้าก่อนและ หลังการทดลอง ระหว่างกลุ่มทดลองและกลุ่มควบคุมด้วยสถิติทดสอบ independent t-test ผลการวิจัยสรุปว่า 1) ค่า เฉลี่ยคะแนนซึมเศร้าของผู้สูงอายุของกลุ่มทดลองที่ได้รับโปรแกรมกลุ่มสัมพันธ์ทางสังคมภายหลังการทดลอง ( = 12.10, SD = 2.96) ต่ำกว่าก่อนการทดลอง ( = 20.23, SD = 7.19) อย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติ (t = 16.39, p < .001) และ 2) ผลตา่ งของคา่ เฉลี่ยคะแนนซึมเศรา้ ของผูสู้งอายุระหวา่ งกอ่ นและหลังไดรั้บโปรแกรมกลุม่ สัมพันธ์ ทางสังคมของกลุ่มทดลอง (D1 = 8.13, SD = 2.07) สูงกว่ากลุ่มควบคุมที่ได้รับการดูแลปกติ (D2 = 0.20, SD = 1.04) อย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติ (t = 15.045, p < .001) สรุปได้ว่าโปรแกรมกลุ่มสัมพันธ์ทางสังคมมีประสิทธิผลในการ ลดภาวะซึมเศร้าของผู้สูงอายุได้
