Book Review“Designing and Conducting Mixed Methods Research”

Abstract

This article is a review of the book, “Designing and Conducting Mixed Methods Research” by John W. Creswell and Vicki L. Plano Clark, Sage Publication, Los Angeles,

USA, ISBN: 978-1-4129-7517-9 (pbk.) in 2011. This book was written based on the writers’ experiences. They found that researchers were mostly curios about the procedures of mixed method research. This book focuses on the nature of mixed method research; philosophy; conducting of research comparing and analyzing six published articles. This book could be very useful to expanding the frontiers of the body of knowledge and the development of the research in any field in future.

          บทความนี้ มีจุดมุ่งหมายเพื่อแนะนำหนังสือ “Designing and Conducting Mixed Methods Research” ซึ่งเป็นหนังสือที่เผยแพร่ในปี พ.ศ. 2555 โดย John W. Creswell และ Vicki L. Plano Clark สำนักพิมพ์ Sage Publication ณ Los Angeles ประเทศสหรัฐอเมริกา ISBN: 978-1-4129-7517-9 (pbk.) หนังสือเล่มนี้ เขียนขึ้นจากข้อค้นพบจากประสบการณ์ของผู้เขียนที่พบว่า นักวิจัยจำนวนมากมีความสนใจใคร่รู้อย่างมากเกี่ยวกับกระบวนการวิจัยผสานวิธี เนื้อหาที่นำเสนอจึงเน้นการนำเสนอธรรมชาติของการวิจัยผสานวิธี แนวคิดเชิงปรัชญา การดำเนินการวิจัย พร้อมการวิเคราะห์เปรียบเทียบ ยกตัวอย่างประกอบจากงานวิจัยที่ได้รับการเผยแพร่แล้ว 6 เรื่อง หนังสือเล่มนี้จึงเป็นประโยชน์อย่างยิ่งต่อการขยายขอบเขตขององค์ความรู้และ        การพัฒนาการวิจัยในสาขาต่างๆ ในอนาคต
