Abstract

Co-treatment of anti-tubeculosis drug with highly active anti-retroviral therapy in AIDS patients who had Tuberculous infection, could cause immune reconstitution inflammatory syndrome which increased morbidity and mortality in these group of patients. This research showed cases of ileal perforation caused by this reaction. Physician should aware of immune reconstitution inflammatory syndrome when facing with AIDS patients with Tuberculous infection.
