Abstract

The development of nursing curriculum and the development of capacities to care for spiritual health are important issues that educational institutes and nursing educators should be developed concretely. From the meeting of the World Health Organization in 1998 and the National Health Act 2007 of Thailand that have specified spirituality as a factor of health. Results of the studies of spiritual health development in patients by the role of nurses and the development of educational administration in the past 10 years (n= 35) have found that there have been recommendations for a clear development of educational administration in the curriculum. So the ideas of the development of nursing curriculum to develop nursing student’s capacities to care for spiritual health will be an essential core that will affect the quality of nursing student production to be professional nurses with the capacities to support and care for spiritual health effectively.
