This research presents the creation of automatic classroom electricity control using Internet of Thing technology to control the electrical equipment installed in the classroom to be used appropriately with the number of users in the classroom. As a result, the power consumption of the classroom is reduced and worked more efficient. In this research will control electrical power is divided into 2 parts: (1) control of electrical power consumption and (2) control of peak demand, an experiment was conducted to set up a power control system in the classroom of Eastern Asia University. Classrooms can be classified into 2 categories: (1) air conditioning and (2) lighting. We used 4 months in the experiment to compare the electrical power consumption before and after installing the control system. The results show that this system can control the electricity consumption in classrooms by an average of 8.12 percent and the maximum demand for electricity was reduced by 32.35 percent. This system has the breakeven point of about 4.9 months. This control system is one of the alternative systems that can effectively manage the electricity consumption in the classroom. This electrical control system can be adapted to different classes. And most importantly, it requires low investment budget.
