บทคัดย่อ
The Development of Grade 7 Students’Learning Achievement and Problem Solving Skill in The Social Studies S 21103 Course using Problem – Based Leaning Approach together with Flipped Classroom Technique.
The objectives of the present research were 1) to Learning Achievement Grade-7 Students so that at least 70% of them pass the passing score of 70% and 2) to develop their problem solving skill so that at least 70% of them pass the passing criterion of 70% or better. The target group consisted of 35grade-7 students in Nonghanwittaya School in NongHan District, Udornthani Province during the second semester of the 2014 academic year. The instruments used for the study consisted of three categories, i.e. 1) Experimen¬tal tool which comprised 9 lesson plans basing on using problem - base leaning approach together with flipped classroom technique which took 9 instructional periods to complete, 2) Reflection tool which com¬prised a teacher’s teaching- behavior observation form, a student’s learning behavior observation form, a student interview form, a student opinion reflection form and end-of-spiral quizzes, and 3) Assessment tool which consisted of a test for measuring the students’ learning achievement test and problem solving skill The study followed action research procedure consisting of 3 spirals. In the first spiral lesson plans 1-3 were used for the experiment, while lesson plans 4-6 and 7-9 were used in the second and third spirals respectively. The findings showed that: 1. The students 82.86% students passed the passing criterion and made a mean achievement score of 72.92% their achievements in this category were higher than the prescribed criterion. 2. The students 74.29% students passed the passing criterion and made a mean problem solving skill score of 74.29% their achievements in this category were higher than the prescribed criterion.
