Abstract

Abstract

          The purposes of the study were to interview and investigate the success of school

administration based on ASEAN Community 4 aspects: 1) the efficiency of school

administration based on ASEAN Community, 2) knowledge of students based on ASEAN

Community, 3) process skills of students based on ASEAN Community, and 4) attitude of

school administration based on ASEAN Community, factors affecting the success of school administration based on ASEAN Community under the Basic Education Commission in the Eastern  and the confirmation of the factors to practices. The sample 17 key informants by purposive sampling for interview type and consisted of 742 teachers by using Krejcie & Morgan (1970, pp. 607 -610) and stratified random sampling for questionnaires and 20 experts from the Primary and Secondary Educational Service Area Office under the Basic Education Commission in the Eastern for focus group discussion. The instruments used for the study were interview, a rating scale questionnaires 5 level and focus group discussion. Statistics uses for analyzing the data were percentage, mean, standard deviation. LISREL model was analysis the success, and for focus group discussion using by content analysis and inductive analysis. The findings were as follows: 1. The interview about the success of school administration based on ASEAN Community found have 4 aspects: 1) the efficiency of school administration based on ASEAN Community; 2) the knowledge of students based on ASEAN Community; 3) the process skills of students based on ASEAN Community and 4) the attitude of students based on ASEAN Community and factors affecting the success of school administration based on ASEAN Community under the Basic Education Commission in the Eastern have 2 factors: 1. the school competencies components: 1) direct of school 2) curriculum 3) structure 4) personnel 5) budget 6) place 7) material 8) network and 2. the procedure process components: 1) plan 2) do 3) check and 4) act 2. The success of school administration based on ASEAN Community, the school competencies and the procedure process factors were rate of total and each aspect at a high level. 3. AN analysis of the LISREL Model a agreement with the empirical data which the factors affecting the success of school administration based on ASEAN Community components the school competencies, and the procedure process factors affected directly to the success of school administration based on ASEAN Community for study this program. The school competencies factors affected directly through the procedure process factors to the success of school administration based on ASEAN Community for study in this program. This model could predict the success of school administration based on ASEAN Community for study this program including of 93%. 4. The confirmation of the factors affecting the success of school administration based on ASEAN Community under the Basic Education Commission in the Eastern were found accurate, appropriate, possible, useful to practices and accordance with the results research.
