Abstract

The preparation of the Thai people to become Thais 4.0 is a top priority in the Thailand 4.0 model, which is the government’s economic model aiming to reform Thailand to achieve economic prosperity, social well-being, human value and environmental protection, in order to release the country from several economic challenges: the middle income trap, the inequality trap, and the imbalance trap.

Thai traditional ways of young children rearing in an the extended family structure with warm parenting and morality can be applied to aggregate inspirations, creativity, public-mindedness, and purposefulness for children. However, children caretakers must shift their paradigms, attitudes, and behaviors in rearing young children towards the desirable characteristics of Thais 4.0 and utilize the advantages of 4.0 society. These are one of the guidelines for developing smart, skillfully productive, healthy, and mindful children.
