Abstract

     The study found that 1/5 of the research (26.23%) wrote only the figures/numbers of the samples used; nearly half of the research (48.36%) used the statistical formulas (but most of them, 76.27%, used wrong formulas.); and the rest of them (25.41%) used the tables (wrong tables) to determine the sample size. The error was founded that: in the population mean studies (the results will be shown with the use of x ̅ and SD as the answers), they used the wrong formulas which are Yamane’s formula (73.33%), Cochran’s formula (13.33%), Kalaya Wanichbancha’s population proportion formula (8.88%), and Krejcie and Morgan’s formula (4.44%). For the population mean studied research papers that used the wrong tables: those are Krejcie and Morgan’s tables (74.19%), and Yamane’s tables (25.81%) which do not compromise with the research methodology.
