Abstract

     This research aimed to study the components and to identify and evaluate the education management outcome regulating strategy of schools under the Regional Primary Education Bureau in the Bangkok metropolitan areas and suburbs. The target groups were 464 directors of the schools under the Regional Primary Education Bureau. The research tools were comprised of 1) the components of education management outcome regulation questionnaires, 2) an in-depth interview form covering the education management outcome regulations, 3) questionnaires for indicating strengths and weaknesses of education management outcome regulations, 4) an evaluation form for opportunities and threats of the education management outcome regulations, and 5) an evaluation form for the strategic planning of the education management outcome regulations. The data were analyzed by using mean, standard deviation, frequency, percentage, factor analysis, and content analysis.

The findings were as follows:

  1. Four major components and 22 sub-components of the education management mentoring outcome were raised including school curriculum development, learning process development, learning resource provision and utilization, and evaluation and assessment.
  2. Strategies of education management mentoring outcome consisted of operational strategies, goal setting strategies, an execution guide, and a success index.
  3. In overview, the strategies of education management mentoring outcome were at the highest level of correction, possibility, and utility with a low standard deviation of data.
