Abstract

     The objectives of this research were to study the components and identify and evaluate the composition of the ideal educational management environment promoting the development of the quality of students’ lives in intermediate school. The target groups included the director and teacher representatives from intermediate schools of the moral-based school project under the Central Regional Bureau of the Intermediate Education which were totaled 480 individuals from 240 schools. Research tools included 1) a current situation questionnaire, 2) an in-depth interview form, and 3) a model evaluation form. The results were as follows:

  1. The composition of the educational management that promoted the development of the quality of students’ lives in intermediate school consisted of 1) a plan to study the needs of the students and the communities in identifying knowledge needed for promoting the development of the quality of life, 2) identification of the goals, principles, and structure of content for curriculum development, 3) learning units designed based on body, mind, social relationship and environment, 4) standards and indicators identified, 5) the content of learning unit identified, 6) learning management plan and a manual for the learning guide established, 7) learning media created, 8) teaching and learning based on the principle of the development of the quality of the students in the 21th century organized, and 9) learning management evaluation.
  2. The developed educational management model was comprised of content, objectives, process, methods and evaluation.
  3. In overview, the developed educational management model was accurate, possible and useful at the highest level with a low standard deviation of data.
