A Development of Teachers' Ability to Develop Instruction Media Using Augmented Reality Technology for Secondary School Teachers in Chai Nat

This research aimed to 1) improve the ability to develop instruction media using the Augmented Reality Technology of the secondary school teachers in Chai Nat, and 2) follow-up the use of instruction media using the Augmented Reality Technology of the secondary school teachers in Chai Nat. The sample for this study consisted of 30 secondary school teachers in Chai Nat selected by multi-stage random sampling, and 11 secondary school students selected by simple random sampling. The research was carried out using action research (PAOR). The instruments used in this research comprised Activity Sets for Instruction Media Development with Augmented Reality, Activity Package Suitability Evaluation Form, observation form, rubrics for product evaluation, and instruction media evaluation forms for teachers and students. Percentage, mean and standard deviation were employed for analyzing quantitative and content analysis was used for analyzing qualitative data.
The results revealed that 1) the teachers’ ability to develop instruction media using the Augmented Reality Technology was excellent and the suitability results in using activity packages in all areas by teacher were excellent, 2) teachers continuously used an Augmented Reality Technology to create a media for instruction and transfer to students resulted to their alacrity and interest.
