Effect of Accounting Vision on Efficiency of Accounting Practice in Hotel Business in North of Thailand

Abstract

           การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อทดสอบผลกระทบของวิสัยทัศน์ทางบัญชีที่มีต่อประสิทธิภาพในการปฏิบัติงานด้านบัญชีของธุรกิจโรงแรมในเขตภาคเหนือของประเทศไทย จำนวน 289 โรงแรม โดยใช้แบบสอบถามเป็นเครื่องมือในการเก็บรวบรวมข้อมูลจากผู้บริหารฝ่ายบัญชี ผู้จัดการฝ่ายบัญชี สถิติที่ใช้ในการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูล ได้แก่ การวิเคราะห์สหสัมพันธ์แบบพหุคูณ และการวิเคราะห์ความถดถอยแบบพหุคูณ จากการวิเคราะห์ผลกระทบของวิสัยทัศน์ทางการบัญชีที่มีต่อประสิทธิภาพการปฏิบัติงานด้านบัญชีพบว่า วิสัยทัศน์ทางบัญชีของธุรกิจ ด้านความถูกต้องในการปฏิบัติงานด้านบัญชีด้านการทำบัญชีที่สอดคล้องกับมาตรฐานทางด้านบัญชี และมาตรฐานการรายงานทางการเงิน ด้านระบบบัญชีคุณภาพ และด้านการรายงานแบบบูรณาการ
มีผลกระทบเชิงบวกอย่างมีนัยสำคัญต่อประสิทธิภาพในการปฏิบัติงานด้านบัญชี ดังนั้นผู้จัดการฝ่ายบัญชีของธุรกิจโรงแรม ควรให้ความสำคัญกับวิสัยทัศน์ทางบัญชีด้านความถูกต้องในการปฏิบัติงานด้านบัญชี ด้านการทำบัญชีที่สอดคล้องกับมาตรฐานทางด้านบัญชี และมาตรฐานการรายงานทางการเงิน ด้านระบบบัญชีคุณภาพ และด้านการรายงานแบบบูรณาการ เพื่อให้การปฏิบัติงานของฝ่ายบัญชีมีประสิทธิภาพ

          The objective of this research is to investigate the impacts of accounting vision on efficiency of accounting practice by using a questionnaire as an instrument for collecting data from 289 hotel business in north of Thailand. The statistics used for analyzing the collected data multiple correlation analysis and multiple regression analysis. This research found that the accounting vision in the aspects of accuracy of accounting practice, compliance with Thai accounting standards and financial reporting Standards, system of accounting and integrated reporting had positive impacts on efficiency of accounting practice. Therefore, the administrators who were being hotel business and related organizations should recognize the importance of accounting vision on accuracy of accounting practice, compliance with Thai accounting standards and financial reporting standards, system of accounting and integrated reporting in order to efficiency of accounting practice.
