ผลสัมฤทธิ์ของการบริหารงานวิจัยของมหาวิทยาลัยวิจัยในประเทศไทย/Achievement of Research Administration in Thai Research Universities

Abstract

ABTRACT

Aim of this research was to study the model of research administration for Thai Research University (RU), using the qualitative research technique with specific sample case. 4 universities, namely Mahidol University , Chiangmai University, Thammasart University and Kasetsart University, were chosen. In-depth interview of 21 persons was performed: 16 from RU and 5 from central administrative bodies (NRCT secretary, OHEC secretary, HERP-NRU director, TRF director, NSTDA director or its representative). Induction and typological analysis were used to analyze data.

Results were concluded as follows: Achievements resulting from management were (1) an increase in international publications based on SCOPUS/ISI database (2) an increase in number of citation in refereed journal (3) an increase in number of patent, intellectual property and copyright, and also an increase in research or innovation towards value added and society improvement (4) an increase in of development program and number of research staff
