บทความเรื่องนี้มุ่งศึกษา กลวิธีการสร้างอารมณ์สะเทือนใจในนวนิยายเรื่องสี่แผ่นดิน  เพื่อชี้ให้เห็นว่า  อารมณ์สะเทือนใจในนวนิยายเรื่องสี่แผ่นดิน เป็นลักษณะเด่นอันทำให้งานเขียนมีความงดงามทางวรรณศิลป์   ผลการศึกษาพบว่า ผู้ประพันธ์ได้นำเสนออารมณ์ความรู้สึกของตัวละครผ่านกลวิธีอันแยบยล  อันได้แก่ กลวิธีการสร้างเรื่อง  ซึ่งแบ่งเป็น การสร้างความขัดแย้ง และการสร้างเหตุการณ์การพลัดพราก  และกลวิธีทางวรรณศิลป์  ซึ่งแบ่งเป็น การใช้ความเปรียบเพื่อแสดงอารมณ์ความรู้สึกเศร้าและอาลัย  และการใช้ความเปรียบเพื่อแสดงความรู้สึกทุกข์

Abstract

This article is aimed at studying the emotion creation techniques in a novel “Si Pan Din” (Four Reigns), in order to point that ‘the emotion’ in this novel is distinguished that made it to be a rhetorical literature. The result was found that the author had presented the characters feeling with cunning techniques: the story creation technique and rhetorical technique.  The story creation technique divided to conflict making technique and separated situation setting and the rhetorical technique which divided to the use of comparison to express mourn feeling and suffering.
