ปลูกต้นไม้ฉบับชาวบ้าน: กระบวนการทำได้จริงของดาบตำรวจวิชัย

            การวิจัยนี้มีจุดมุ่งหมายเพื่อศึกษากระบวนการปลูกต้นไม้ของดาบตำรวจวิชัย สุริยุทธ ในพื้นที่อำเภอปรางค์กู่ จังหวัดศรีสะเกษ เป็นงานวิจัยเชิงคุณภาพ เก็บข้อมูลแรงบันดาลใจในการปลูก วิธีการปลูก การเลือกพื้นที่ปลูก  การจัดการภายหลังการปลูก ด้วยวิธีการสัมภาษณ์และสรุปเชิงพรรณนา ผลของการศึกษาพบว่า การเข้าอบรมโครงการ “แผ่นดินธรรม แผ่นดินทอง” เป็นแรงบันดาลใจให้ดาบตำรวจวิชัย สุริยุทธ เริ่มทำกิจกรรมการปลูกต้นไม้ดังกล่าว พบว่า ข้อพิจารณาในการปลูกต้นไม้ของดาบฯ วิชัย ได้แก่ 1) เลือกต้นไม้ที่มีในท้องถิ่นที่ใช้ประโยชน์ได้  2) เลือกฤดูกาลที่เหมาะกับการเจริญเติบโตของเมล็ดคือ ต้นฤดูฝน 3) ใช้วิธีการขุดหลุมและหยอดเมล็ด และ 4) เลือกปลูกในพื้นที่สาธารณะเพื่อให้เป็นประโยชน์สูงสุดแก่ชาวบ้านในพื้นที่ที่มีการขุดลอกหนอง บึง ถนน ซึ่งเป็นดินที่มีสภาพไม่แน่น นับเป็นการประยุกต์ภูมิปัญญาของคนคนเดียวที่ทำด้วยความมานะมุ่งมั่นจนเกิดประโยชน์แก่ชุมชน

ABSTRACT

This research aimed to study the planting process of Police Senior Sergeant Major Wichai Suriyuthin Amphoe Prang Ku, Si Sa Ket Province in Thailand. Data on his inspiration, planting methods, area selection, and management after planting were collected from interviews and were descriptively analyzed. The study found that having participated in the “Pandin Dhum Pandin Thong Project” was the inspiration for Pol. Sen. Sgt. Maj. Wichai to start planting. His planting methods used local wisdom to take advantage of the natural settings. His planting criteria were: 1) choosing beneficial local trees;, 2) seeds were collected to plant in the early rainy season for high survival percentage;, 3) seeds were planted in the soil; and 4) choosing public areas for planting so that the trees would be beneficial to local people, especially those areas that were newly dug for ponds or along newly- constructed roads for uncompacted soil. Pol. Sen. Sgt. Maj. Wichai’s tree planting has shown how one person can have a great impact on his community through strong intention and perseverance.
