As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Components of the Articles

  1. Academic Articles:

           Topics and contents must clearly indicate the points required to be presented. The content should be sequenced appropriately so that readers are able to comprehend it effectively. The theory used to analyse and complete the presentation of the content must be provided. Following are the components required:

  • Article Title

  • Abstract: Both Thai and English abstracts are required to summarise the content at the maximum length of one-page.

  • Keywords: Five significant words from the article must be presented as a footnote to facilitate further searches.

  • Introduction: The introductory section both introduces and presents the content, allowing readers to know the primary content. The scope of article must also be mentioned.

  • Body of Text: This is the main part of the article, with the content divided sequentially. The sequences must be arranged in accordance with the content presentation.

  • Conclusion: This part presents a clear and concise summary of all the content. The advantages or disadvantages of the result must also be mentioned.

  • References: The APA 6th edition (American Psychological Association Citation Style) is followed.

  1. Research Articles: The research results should be presented systematically in accordance with the following instructions:

    • Article Title

    • Abstract: Both Thai and English abstracts are required to summarise the content, at the maximum length of one-page.

    • Keywords: Five significant words from the article must be presented under the abstract to facilitate further study.

    • Introduction: The introduction should explain the background of the problems and the rationale guiding the conduct of the research. Supporting or argumentative information, the approach, and related theory should also be mentioned.

    • Research Objectives: The objectives and goals of the research should be outlined and explained.

    • Research Methodology: The methods of conducting research should be demonstrated clearly and thoroughly.

    • Results: The research findings should be presented in accordance with the steps taken in conducting the research, accompanied by no more than five tables or figures of illustration, along with the clear interpretation and analysis of results.

    • Discussion: Comparison and interpretation of research results must be related to theory, approach, and related research. The findings gained must be connected and be consistent with the research problems.

    • Conclusion: Research findings are concluded and suggestions for further use are being offered.

    • References: The APA 6th edition(American Psychological Association) is used in reference citation.

Reference Citation in Text

The Journal of Humanities uses the APA 6th edition (American Psychological Association) Citation Style. Names and surnames of the writers must be appended with the year published and the page number of the citation.
