Abstract

This article compares the content and the character adaptation in cartoon version to Wannakhadee Wijak textbook version of Pra Aphimanee Nee Nang Phee Seau in Pha Aphimanee. The findings of the content adaptation are as follows: there are two types of content adaptation in Pra Aphimanee Nee Nang Phee Seau in Pra Aphimanee. First, the content in Wannakhadee Wijak textbook version is similar to the cartoon version but some details are adapted. Second, the content of Wannakhadee Wijak textbook version is not mentioned in the cartoon version. The finding of the character adaptation shows that there is no adaptation in the cartoon version of Pra Aphimanee Nee Nang Phee Seau. The names of the characters in both Wannakhadee Wijak textbook version and the cartoon version were the same.
