Abstract

The purpose of this research was to develop and evaluate the efficiency of web-based instruction (WBI) on a learning management system (LMS) for a competency plan with blended learning and MIAP (Motivation, Information, Application, and Progress) process for a computer graphics and animation course. Student pretest and posttest scores were compared and student satisfaction was evaluated. The research sample group comprised 45 second year students majoring in computer education from the Faculty of Science and Technology, Nakhon Pathom Rajabhat University during the first semester of the 2016 academic year and used simple random sampling. The research tools were WBI on a LMS competency-enhancing teaching plan, a teaching plan based on MIAP process-blended learning, a pretest and posttest, and a questionnaire on student satisfaction. The results of the research revealed that the efficiency of WBI at 84.89/82.15, which was higher than the specified criteria of 80/80. When the pretest and posttest were compared, it was found that there was a significant difference between the average scores on the pretest (gif.latex?\bar{x}= 13.02, S.D. = 4.55) and the posttest (gif.latex?\bar{x}= 24.64, S.D. = 2.29) at the 0.05 level. Student satisfaction was at the more level (gif.latex?\bar{x}= 4.47, S.D. = 0.73)
