The Construction and Evaluation of a Webpage for Titles and Abstract of Special Problems in the Department of Agricultural Education website, Faculty of Industrial Education, KMITL

Abstract

The objectives of this study was to construct and to evaluate awebpage for titles and abstracts of special problems on the Department of Agricultural Education webpage, Faculty of Industrial Education, King Mongkut’s Institute of Industrial Education, King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology Ladkrabang. Inaddition, the level of student satisfaction, classified by sex and major field of study, was determined. The sample group consisted of 76 fourth year students from the Department of Agricultural Education. The tools for data collection were a computer program for construction of the webpage, a webpage on special problem titles and abstracts, and an evaluative form on webpage satisfaction.

The results revealed that PHP, Java Script, XML, CSS, and MySQL computer programs were used for constructing the webpage. Overall, the students especially students whose majors were in agricultural technology of plant and animal production as well as agro-indutry were satisfied with the webpage at the high level ( = 3.84, S.D. = 0.69). When the students’ sex and major fields were compared, there were no significant differences on the webpage for the titles and abstracts of the special problems at the 0.05 level.
