Abstract

Abstract: The objectives of this research were to 1) develop a training program on e-Document for academic support staffs of the Sirindhorn International Thai-German Graduate School of Engineering, King Mongkut’s University of Technology North Bangkok, and 2) explore the training program output resulted in trainees’ knowledge, skills, and their satisfaction regarding the training program. The population were 33 academic support staffs of the faculty. Research instruments included the training program, comprehension test, performance evaluation test, and satisfaction survey. Each instrument was validated for its quality by three (3) experts before implementation.

Results showed that the training program emerged from Tyler’s model consisted of three (3) user manuals, 1) Google Sites, 2) Google Drive and Google Forms, and 3) TGGS INDI System. Outputs of the training program showed that the trainees gained knowledge at ‘high level’ (70.6%) whilst their operational skills were at ‘highest level’ (87.9%), and the trainees satisfied the training program at ‘highest level’ on average (gif.latex?\mu=4.55). It is suggested that, 1) Tyler’s curriculum development model can be applied with other training programs, 2) learning management process associated with online media is needed for difficult and complex contents, 3) there should be following-up the trainees on their knowledge implementation, and 4) knowledge management process in organization is a powerful tool for enhancing personnel’s competencies.
