A Study on the Practice of the Five Precepts Apply to Daily Life for The Buddhist way of Life School, Surin Province.

Abstract

This research describes the role of education as analysis of the objectives for study of practices in the 5 main precepts and related to result for practices of students’ Buddhist schools which are the way to adjust and uplift the learning, the teaching that are to plan the moral, ethic, gratitude for students who will behave and practice that will be needed by the society. This example group of the students are 330 persons in the Pathom6 and Mathayom 3 are 397 persons, therefore, this research questioned the students around the Buddhist schools in Surin Province.


The data are collected questioned papers from students and analysis as percentage, average, standard T.Test and analysis occurred results have been found.


              Statues of parents’ students are mostly staying together (72.4 %) still alive of both (93.2 %). They stay with parents (79.1%) mostly are formers and work in the fields (77.8%) both parents work in fields 34.9. Students have score of knowledge average 81.2. They mostly understand well in the first precept. The second of five precept is the third, the second and the fourth in percentage as 84.2,82.0,81.7,80.0 and 77.0 respectively. They joined the religious activities as percentage 42.4 at the temples 43.4, at homes and others 39.3, having practiced in the role of 5 precepts average are 76.5, to mostly observe the last one of the precept, lower is precept in No. 1,3,2 and 4 average are 87.5,79.1,78.5,68.7 and percent 66.4 respectively. Year, gender, age, occupation of parents, knowledge and the joint activities in Buddhist events in the reason or related to results for the practice of 5 precepts by students from Buddhist schools in Surin Province that should manage students to join religious activities more and more in quality of activities and students.
