Organizational Citizenship Behavior, Procedural Justice, Organizational Commitment and Job Performance: An Empirical Investigation of Public Hospital in Muang District, Phitsanulok

Abstract

The purpose of this study was 1) to study the impact of organizational citizenship behavior, procedural justice and organizational commitment on job performance 2) to study the impact of procedural justice and organizational commitment on organizational citizenship behavior at public hospital in Mueang district, Phitsanulok. The samples are 490 employees that work at public hospital. This research employed multiple regression analysis in hypothesis testing. This research results reveal that organizational citizenship behavior, procedural justice and organizational commitment had positive influence on job performance. Organizational commitment had positive influence on organizational citizenship behavior but procedural justice had not influence on organizational citizenship behavior. This research has suggested that public hospitals in Mueang District, Phitsanulok Province should concentrate in creating justice for the organizational processes, establish equality for staffs. Likewise, they should create more engagement within the organization. In summary, the both processes will encourage personnel to behave as a good member of the organization.
