An Earthquake Preparedness

An Earthquake is a natural disaster that causes loss of lives and properties in many countries around the world. Countries with high risk of earthquakes are likely to have better preparation for residents by giving knowledge, instruction, and training people in earthquake drills since childhood in order to develop survival skills and abilities to protect their lives from this disaster. On the other hand, some countries that are unaffected by this fatal disaster and
never have encountered or have encountered with low-intensity and low-frequency earthquakes such as Thailand are prone to be unprepared and unaware. Sufficient and suitable information about an earthquake would be unavailable and disregard which will cause great loss of lives. Therefore, raising earthquake awareness and preparedness among people to cope with this destructive natural disaster that may happen in the future is considerable and crucial. We
should operate immediately because an earthquake is an inevitable natural disaster, but we can reduce loss of lives and properties if we are well-prepared in coping and behaving when we have to confront with this urgent and dangerous situation.
