THE EFFECTS OF USING COOPERATIVE LEARNING PACKAGE ON EQUATIONS AND SOLVING EQUATIONS FOR GRADE 6 STUDENTS

Abstract

       


The purposes of this research were 1) to compare learning achievement between before and after by using cooperative learning on equations and solving equations for grade 6th students and 2) to study satisfaction of students using cooperative learning on equations and solving equations for grade 6th students. The sample for this research consisted of 24 grade 6th students at Watbangpeng School Chonburi during the first semester of 2018, selected by Cluster Sampling, The data were analyzed using mean, standard deviation and t-test for dependent sample.


The results of this study indicated that: 1) The posttest mean scores of learning achievement by using cooperative learning on equations and solving equations for grade 6th students were statistically significant higher than the pretest mean scores at the .05 level. And 2) the satisfaction of students after learning with the cooperative learning on equations and solving equations was at the highest level.
