TECHNOLOGY TRANSFER AND THE APPLICATION FOR COMMUNITY ECONOMY TOURISM AND OTOP PRODUCTS OF SURIN PROVINCE

Abstract

The objectives of this research aimed to transfer technology and conduct a satisfaction study on technology transfer and the use of the application for community economy tourism and OTOP products of Surin province. The participants of this study were people living in community tourism villages of Surin and neighboring villages. There were 250 participants in total participated in this study including 170 of general participants (selected through a purposive sampling technique) and 80 of tourists traveling to Surin (selected through an accidental sampling technique). The tools used in the research are applications. Guide and video guide on how to use the application of tourism, community economy and OTOP products in Surin province. Questionnaire assessing satisfaction in technology transfer and usage of tourism applications for community economy and OTOP products in Surin province by means of technology transfer in demonstration form individually use speech show for individual viewing to test the use and assessing the satisfaction in transferring technology and using applications for tourism, community economy and OTOP products in Surin province statistics used in data analysis consist of mean and standard deviation.


          The study showed that in technology transfer resulting in changes in the potential of tourism community economy and OTOP products in Surin province, community residents who are community tourism villages product, community product and nearby villages In Surin province and tourists traveling to Surin province gain knowledge and understanding in bringing results from research into practice by means of technology transfer, will be combined with the mutual learning exchange process resulting in a change in the positive attitude between the research team and the tourists community and create more common presentation concepts receive academic knowledge and practice continuously. It’s an important motivation to change the behavior of being a good host in welcoming tourists produce products to meet the needs of tourists generate income for the community. As well as publicizing information on tourism, community economy and OTOP products of Surin province to the public and the use of the application was at a very good level ( gif.latex?\bar{X} = 4.52, S.D. = 0.54).
