DEVELOPMENT AND INVESTIGATION OF PSYCHOMETRIC PROPERTIES OF THE STUDENT TEACHER’S VOLUNTEER SPIRITS OF RAJABHAT UNIVERSITY SCALE

Abstract
The purpose of this research article was to develop and investigate the psychometric properties of the Student Teacher’s Volunteer Spirits of Rajabhat University Scale. Samples were 1,200 student teachers randomized by multi-stage random sampling. Research instrument was a 5-point scale. Data were analyzed by descriptive statistics methods including frequency, percentage, and by inferential statistics methods of t-test. Fit statistics including INFIT MNSQ, and OUTFIT MNSQ were also used to analyze. The research findings were the student teachers’ volunteer spirits scale comprised of 41 items. The IOC of items ranged from 0.60 to 1.00. The Cronbach’s alpha reliability of scale ranged from 0.87 to 0.95. The scale discriminated the student between normal group and known group with the statistical significance of .05 level. It was an evidence for the construct validity of this research instrument. In addition, it was found the INFIT MNSQ and OUTFIT MNSQ of items ranged from 0.68 to 1.47, which were the expected range.
