Background: Emergency Department is unique but, little known about factors that relate to sustained Return Of Spontaneous Circulation (ROSC)ofEmergency Department Cardiac Arrests(EDCA).
Objective: To determineSustained ROSC rate andfactors that relate to sustained ROSC.
Methods: This retrospective study included all patients who were cardiac arrest and resuscitation within the Buriram hospital emergency department between October 2017-September 2018. Descriptive analytic statistics and logistic regression were used to analyze factors that relate to sustainedROSC.
Results: Sixty-nine cases identify for analysis.Sustained ROSC rate was 56.52%. Most cases were witnessed (94.2%) and immediate causes of arrest were hypotension (49.3%) and respiratory depression (36.2%). Overall, 95.7%patient withnon-shockablerhythm.The significant factor influencing sustained ROSC rate were time to ROSC less than 10 min(OR: 7.0,95%CI 2.0-24.2, p = 0.002)
