Abstract

Development Of Archaeological Applications In Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya With 3d Virtual Reality Technology

        This research divided the research into two phases, according to the research objectives: Phases One focused on the development and evaluation by applying of 3D virtual reality technology to ancient monuments in Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya.  There were 6 people to assess the quality of the research instruments. Phase Two studied the effect of using applications in monuments in Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya with 3D virtual reality technology. There were forty people, which were obtained the voluntary participation of trial users of the application. The researcher interviewed twenty-four people who visited the ancient monument in Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya. And thirteen people were interested in Thai architecture due to social media sites.

         Which the research found ancient applications in Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya with 3D virtual reality technology consisting of three elements: activity, broadcast receiver and content providers. In terms of quality level, the average value wes 3.93 and the standard deviation is 0.70. The quality evaluation from the content experts at a very high level of quality with an average value of 4.20 and a standard deviation of 0.75. The results of the study of the opinions of the users of ancient archaeological applications in Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya with 3D virtual reality technology had a high level of opinion, with an average of 4.18 and a standard deviation of 0.79.
