Abstract


          Intimate partner violence (IPV) against women occurs around the world, and could have effects on short-term and long-term health status, and both physical and psychosocial impacts. For physical impact, it can be found from minor injuries to death while psychosocial impact can be shown minimally as low self-esteem until severely as attempted suicide. Therefore, the IPV prevention is an important issue using to help women before the violence occurs. Moreover, it can also use to assist in early detection. The purpose of this article is to present processes and interventions to prevent IPV in various levels from primary, secondary and tertiary. Each level would have differences in target population, guidelines, and implementation.
