Abstract

This research aimed 1) to study the management of the community enterprise of Mahasawat Agricultural Housewife Group and 2) to study appropriate approaches to sustainable economic management of Mahasawat Agricultural Housewife Group. The qualitative research methodology was utilized by the data obtained from related documents, Data was collected by observation and in-depth interviews with key informants from related organizations at the district level, village and community level, and members of Mahasawat Agricultural Housewife Group;
14 people, and analyze the interpretation analytic induction.


The research found that 1) according to the management of the community enterprise in planning, they used principle of community participation, organizing, management structure and there are rules and regulations to apply among members ; in leading, the administration structure of good governance and in controlling, accounting for income – expenditure and government agencies checking and 2) the appropriate approaches to sustainable economic management consisted of 5 approaches; (1) to finding the potential,  context, wisdom, and basic information of the community and the community enterprise; (2) administration development; (3) the product development; (4) market and activities administration  and (5) the network development
