The Entering to the Political Power of the Pattaya Governor

Abstract
This research aims to 1) study the factors affecting the entering to the political power of the Pattaya Governor 2) study the way that the Pattaya Governor steps up to the political power. Use quantitative and qualitative research methods. The sample size are 399 residents selected from Pattaya City area for the study. The Stepwise Multiple Regression Analysis technique are the statistical significance is .05. Descriptive Analysis Tools used were questionnaires and interview forms. The result shows that there are 6 factors relating to the entry into the political power of the Pattaya Governor. The most influencing factor was patronage system, followed by campaigning (platform speech), sponsorship and money giveaway, person (character of interpersonal relation), policy, and donation for social works respectively. And the way that the Pattaya Governor performed in order to step up to the political power was mainly patronage. In Pattaya City, the local political power was monopolized. Networking was firmly founded.
