Currently there is an increase in an ageing workforce. Employers frequently hire ageing workers into Skilled Labor positions, with less focus on Semi-Skilled Labor and Unskilled Labor. Employers still have misunderstandings concerning the capabilities of aging workers as well as the hiring cost associated with this workforce, especially compared the fact that ageing workers are still eligible for full-time work and often have more experience in their respective fields compared to the younger workforce. The Law in Thailand, the law does not state that older or ageing workers in the Labor market are not eligible to continue working. This study thus contributes to Thai Law enforcement have some part possibility to align for ageing workers protection. There for to improve upon Ageing Labor Protection and set new standards that aligns with both the legal and cultural attitudes within Thailand. It will explain about the definitions concerning what constitutes an ageing worker, conditions of work for ageing and older workers, Protection against Dismissal, as well as expand upon the rights contained within Section 33 of the Social Security Act B.E. 2533 and the Special Protection/Conditions of the Elderly. This report also includes a section on wellness treatment for older workers (skilled, semi-skilled, and unskilled) within the labor system and workplace, and suggests ways to support the establishment of employers to employ the elderly.
