Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in Microsoft Word file format.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Manuscript Preparation Guidelines and the provided template.
  • The list of recommended reviewers for this submission has been filled out by the author in the last page of the template.

Manuscript Preparation

  1. All fonts must be in Times New Roman. The formatting guidelines provided in the template must be strictly followed.
  2. The manuscript should be between 8-12 pages (A4) in length.
  3. All figures and tables should be properly cited. Recommended image formats are eps, tiff, or jpg, with at least 300 dpi in resolution.
  4. All measurements should be in SI units.
  5. Abbreviation of technical terms may be used. However, the first mention of lesser-known terms should be written in their full form. 
  6. Other formatting guidelines are detailed in the template.

Journal Article Components

  1. The title should be clear, concise, and comprehensive.
  2. The abstract should not exceed 250 words and should succinctly describe the main purposes of the study, methodology, results and conclusion, followed by a list of 3-5 keywords that are seperated by commas. 
  3. The main body should include the introduction, materials and methods, results and discussion, conclusions, acknowledgement, and references.
  4. The references should contain a list of cited relevant works in Vancouver style. References in Thai language must be translated to English and marked as "Thai" at the end.

Research Article

Research articles report on original research work in the field of engineering. The article should contain novel ideas, methodology, experiment results, and discussion.

Review Article

Review articles compile, compare and analyze existing research works in the field, and provide insight regarding the current state of research on a given engineering topic.
