Abstract

              The objectives of this research were:  1) to study the development of local curriculum, 2) to study the effectiveness of tried out local curriculum, and 3) to study the effectiveness of expansion in effectiveness of usage in local curriculum titled “The Value Inculcation in Thai Love for Molum Show titled poem” of secondary school students. There were 3 phases of this study.  Phase 1, the curriculum was outlined.  The samples were 158 persons including 110 grade 12 students, 5 teachers teaching art learning substance, 15 school boards. 10 luminaries and 5 masters. Phase 2, the curriculum was tried out with 34 grade 12 students, Kosoomwittayasan school.  They were selected by purposive sampling. Phase 3, the curriculum use was expanded with 30 secondary school students as members of Molum Club, Kosoomwittayasan school. The research instrument included were the questionnaire, the focus group discussion record form, the suitability evaluation form, the learning achievement test, the value scale of love to be thais, and the questionnaire of satisfaction. Data were analyzed by calculating the mean, standard deviation and t-test (dependent sample). The research findings were presented in analytic descriptive form. The research findings found that:


     1. For the findings of development in local curriculum titled “The value inculcation of Love to be Thais for Molum Show titled poem of secondary school students,” found that in overall, the propriety was in “The Highest” level.


     2. For the findings of effectiveness tried out curriculum, found that : 1) the students’ posttest learning achievement was significantly higher than the pretest at .05 level,  2) the students’ value of love to be Thais, was in “The Highest” level, and  3) the students’ overall satisfaction was in “The Highest” level. 


     3. For the findings of effectiveness in expansion of curriculum use, found that : 1) the students’ posttest learning achievements was significantly higher than the pretest at .05 level, 2) the students’ value of love to be Thais, was in “The Highest” level, and 3) the students’ overall satisfaction was in “The Highest” level.
