The purposes of this research were to: 1) analyze the characters and contents on research studies of educational administration 2) analyze and synthesize the contents of the research findings of educational administration. The researcher had studied 45 master degree thesis of educational administration which were published from 2012-2015. The content analysis technique was employed to analyze the data.
The research findings were as follows:
1. The result of the analysis of the characters and contents of educational administration revealed that the researchers were males more than females, the researches published in the year 2015 the most, most of the researches were quantity researches. The most frequent objectives were to study, follow by to compare. The most popular topic they studied was principal management, followed by effect, product, and outcome on the administration. The population and samples in the researches were teachers, lecturers the most, it was followed by the administrators and stake holders respectively. The site of population and samples were at the Office of Primary Educational Service Area the most, followed by the Office of Secondary Educational Service Area and Child Development center under Subdistrict Administrative organization. The researches were conducted in Chaiyaphum province the most, followed by Nakhonratchasima, and Khonkaen. Independence variables were the positions of the administrators followed by school sizes, and experience whereas dependence variables were the satisfaction of the administration and work performance, followed by the behavior and leadership of the administrators and the academic administration. The research instruments were the questionnaires the most, followed by recording form and interviewing form. The data collected by the questionnaires the most, followed by focus group and interviewing. The researchers analyzed the contents the most, followed by mean, standard deviation, and percentage respectively. The statistics used were mean, and standard deviation the most, followed by frequency, percentage and F-test at the equal rate.
2) The results of the researches were on leadership of the administrators the most, followed by academic administration, the management of child center, teachers’ development respectively. Over all of this study, it was found that leadership of the administrators on the teachers’ opinion were at a little bit high level and it was found that the school administrators had transformational leadership as a whole at a high level include there was a positive relationship with the effectiveness of the schools in over all.
