Abstract

          


The purposes of this research were; 1) to develop  learning activities packages by applying problem-based learning process to enhance the problem solving skills on area of  social study,  relision and culture for Prathomsuksa 5 students with an efficiency of 80/80 , 2) to study leaning achievements before and after learning activities  package, 3) to study  problem solving ability and 4) to study attitudes towards learning. The sample consisted of 30 students in Pratomsuksa 5 in the first semester academic year 2016 of  BanHinwong school, Sattahip District,  Chonburi Province, under the Office of Chonburi  Primary Educational Service Area Office 3 by using cluster  random sampling. The research instruments were the learning activities  package  leaning achievement test, problem  solving test, attitudes test. The statistics used were percentage, mean, standard deviation and t-test. 


               The results of the study were as follows:


  1. The development of learning activities package by using application problem-based learning process for enhancing the problem solving skills on area of  social study,  relision and culture for Prathomsuksa 5 students had efficiency of  E1/E2  =  82.33/ 82.89.

               2 The achievement of the students after being taught by learning activities package by applying problem-based learning process to enhance the problem solving skills was significantly higher than that before it at the statistically significant level of .05.


  1. The ability to solve the problem of the students after being taught by learning activities package by applying problem-based learning process to enhance the problem solving skills was significantly higher than that before it at 70 %.

  2. The attitudes of the students to learning by applying problem-based learning process to enhance the problem solving skills mainly was definitely agree at  = 4.72 and S.D. = 0.48.
