The objectives of the research were; 1) To study investigate the influence of information needs for making decision to study in this university, 2) To study examine the necessary of media information for decision -making. The sample populations were Matthayom 6 students 241 people. Random sampling by stratified random sampling and allowable error 0.05 Data were collected from by questionnaire. Percentage and Standard deviation were applied for the data analysis.
This study revealed that students were major from Chaiyaphum province (73.0 percent) chosen here for study because of the location (53.9percent). 1.Information needs were divided into 1) network and workplace information ( = 4.08) 2) scholarship information ( = 3.98) 3) expense information ( = 3.75) 4) curriculum Information ( = 3.74) 5) instructors information 6) basic information of the university ( = 3.61) 2. Information needs in media found that students requiring information mostly from the website, printing media, social online, personal media, and mass media respectively.
