Abstract

บทคัดย่อ : บทความวิชาการเรื่องนี้มีเป้าหมายเพื่อนำเสนอสถานการณ์ที่จำเป็นต้องให้คำปรึกษาทางเลือกแก่วัยรุ่นที่ตั้งครรภ์ในประเทศไทย  รวมทั้งคุณสมบัติของผู้ให้คำปรึกษาทางเลือก และกระบวนการให้คำปรึกษาทางเลือก ซึ่งทางเลือกสำหรับวัยรุ่นที่ตั้งครรภ์มี 3 ทาง คือ 1) ตั้งครรภ์ต่อแล้วเลี้ยงลูกเอง 2) ตั้งครรภ์ต่อแล้วยกลูกให้คนอื่น และ 3) ยุติการตั้งครรภ์ โดยที่การให้คำปรึกษาทางเลือกแก่วัยรุ่นที่ตั้งครรภ์มีเป้าหมายเพื่อให้วัยรุ่นได้ข้อมูลสำหรับการเลือก ตัดสินใจเลือกทางออกที่เหมาะสมกับสถานการณ์เฉพาะของตนเอง ด้วยตนเอง และได้รับการสนับสนุนให้ดำเนินตามทางเลือกที่ตัดสินใจเลือกได้อย่างมีประสิทธิภาพ;

Abstract : This article aims to present situations leaded to the need of providing options counseling for pregnant teenagers in Thailand, characteristics of options counselor, and process of options counseling. There are 3 options for a pregnant teenager: 1) continuing the pregnancy and raising the child herself, 2) continuing the pregnancy and placing the child for adoption, and 3) terminating the pregnancy. The goals of options counseling are to provide information to teenagers for their choices, help teenagers to make the right choice for their particular circumstances, and support their acts on their decision effectively.
