Focus and Scope

Thai Journal of Toxicology focuses on the publication of original research and review articles on the area of toxicology. Areas such as clinical toxicology, pharmacological toxicology, environmental toxicology, occupational health and safety of exposure to toxins, the toxicity of natural products and traditional medicines, food and nutrition toxicology, safety evaluation of novel foods and ingredients, biotechnologically-derived products, nanomaterials, hazard identification and health risk assessment, adverse effects of chemically induced toxicity on the health of humans and animals, molecular toxicology, which are included in the scope of the journal.

 

Publication Frequency and Language

Two issues per year: No. 1 (January-June) and No. 2 (July-December). The first issue is published online between January and June, while the latter is published online between July and December.
Published articles in Thai or English languages.
Thai Journal of Toxicology has published online-only starting from Vol. 35, No. 1, 2020. While the fully online submission process allows for use from Vol. 35, No.2, 2020 onwards.

 

Peer-Review Policy

All submitted original research and review articles manuscripts are first evaluated by the Editor-in-Chief or Associated editor to assure their originality, scientific validity, relevance, significance, language, and adherence to the instructions for authors. Appropriate manuscripts are then sent to at least three expert reviewers under a double-blind peer-review process. The reviewers submit their recommendations for decision and comments to the editor. The editor communicates with authors and makes the final decision (Accept submission, Revision required, or Decline submission). The overall process typically takes about 90 days.

 

Open Access Policy

Thai Journal of Toxicology provides immediate open access to make the final published version of articles freely available online.

 

Publication Fee
Thai Journal of Toxicology does not charge a publication fee.
